Our Cultural Center is a trans media web series that focuses on the struggles of a fictitious nonprofit cultural center in Chicago. We work with local writers, artists, and actors to produce this live episodic program. Each episode will be available to view on Mondays at (TBD) come October 2013. We will showcase this new approach to interacting with the arts and building new audiences, with a strong online presence, of the long format episodes as well as short webisodes.
The idea was built by painter MartinJon who reached out to longtime collaborator Dan Findley who has a background in theater. We pulled in a great writing team for the pilot and with a lot of encouragement along the way we are pushing forward, looking for investors, partners and collaborators, if that is you let us know.
